In 2001, she released her debut CD entitled ''Appearances'' on SE Entertainment Records, which introduced the world to Nikkole's amazing vocal sound and unique songwriting ability. Her hard work resulted in a Best Pop Album award from Radio Free Virgin and JPF, for which she beat out 7800 other independently released albums. Her winning streak continued with another award from Radio Free Virgin and JPF with ''Over It'' being named one of the top 20 Best Pop Singles out of 25,000 independent successful songs in 2003. Nikkole further proved her success when she became the #1 independent singer in the US with her debut album, ''Appearances'' via mp3.com, which was one of the first major music internet websites.

The success of ''Appearances'' enabled Nikkole to branch out and work with some of the world's top performers such as Babyface, The Emotions, Arturo Sandoval, Lakeside, The Commodores, Midnight Star, Norman Brown, Gregory Hines, Whoopi Goldberg, Cedric the Entertainer, Everette Harp, Sheree Brown, and Patrice Rushen. Each collaboration brought new challenges and has helped develop and enhance Nikkole's own unique voice and style. Nikkole has written and crafted new tunes for The Emotions and The Commodores and she has appeared on the soundtracks to the films ''The Brothers'', ''Biker Boyz'' and ''Love and Action in Chicago.'' Nikkole also appears on Norman Brown's #1 Billboard smash ''Stay With Me'' (2007), more specifically the radio-friendly cut ''You Keep Lifting Me Higher,'' which she not only sang, but she wrote and arranged the vocals. In fact, Nikkole spent 8 weeks at #1 on Billboard's Contemporary Jazz Charts with Norman Brown's, ''Stay With Me'' project. The album remained in Billboard's Top 10 for over 4 months!

Nikkole was a contender for 3 Nominations in the following categories at the 50th Annual Grammy Awards: Best Urban / Alternative Performance - Breathe, Best R&B Song - Breathe and Best New Artist! Nikkole made it again to the Grammy battleground with her 2nd single from Creolepatra, ''Love Was Made In Heaven'' which was up for Record of the Year and Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards.

Following up and building upon the success of her first CD, Nikkole released a brand new full-length LP entitled ''A Girl Like Me'' on SE Entertainment Records. This CD exposed the world to Nikkole's five octave range, and reminded them of the lyrical ingenue's exceptional skills. The lead off single ''It's Too Late'' features The Emotions and was added to medium or heavy rotation at over 60 commercial radio stations, including Clear Channel Stations in the U.S. alone and to numerous radio stations in the UK, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Germany, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Tonga and the Cook Islands. Nikkole has especially struck a chord in Japan as her overwhelming demand there has led her to record two of the songs from ''A Girl Like Me'' in Japanese, making her one of the first American Pop / R&B recording artists to do so.

The explosive album, ''A Girl Like Me'' generated a second HOT Single, ''Gon' Bounce'' which was also added to radio stations at a feverish pace. ''Gon' Bounce'' debuted at #1 on American Idol radio on the first week of release in the U.S.! ''Gon' Bounce'' did what it was destined to do, which was to heat up the dance floors around the country and world!

Nikkole released yet another fantastic single from ''A Girl Like Me,'' which was the Neo-Soul cut, ''Breathe.'' The video for the song was listed as one of the Hottest new videos on Blastro!

In February of 2008, Nikkole's song, ''Beautiful Colors'' from her debut album, ''Appearances'' was selected for a television and radio ad campaign for Mattress Firm, the largest mattress retailer in the United States. The ads began running on April 30, 2008 and expanded throughout the country into numerous markets.

Moving along in 2008, Nikkole was not only touring, but she was also in the studio, finishing up her latest album, ''Creolepatra'' on SE Entertainment Records. ''E-X-OTIC'' is the first offering from the new album. The ''E-X-OTIC'' maxi-single was released on July 8, 2008 along with a brand new music video that has been certified gold on blastro.com and has been #1 for four consecutive weeks. The new studio album, ''Creolepatra'' was released on August 12, 2008 and contains 17 brand new jamz! In October 2008 Nikkole was chosen by Cosmopolitan Magazine as one of America's Top 10 Fearless Female Rockstars!

2009 sees Nikkole releasing her 2nd single from her highly acclaimed cd, ''Creolepatra''. The maxi-single is called, ''Love Was Made In Heaven'' and features sax great, Everette Harp. This maxi-single features six remixes of the song, and in it's third week of release the single was #1 on the R&B digital sales charts in the Los Angeles market according to TuneCore.

Nikkole just teamed up with Minx Nails which is one of the hottest trends for todays fashionistas! She joins her industry contemporaries Beyonce, Pink. Lady GaGa, Mariah Carey, Fergie, Toni Braxton, Keyshia Cole, Rihanna and Katy Perry as an endorsee of this amazing nail accessory, and was just featured in the May 2010 edition of SCRATCH Magazine, UK in a two page interview.

Nikkole has recently been chosen by MTV Networks to license 48 of her songs from her catalog for various Television shows, video games, movies and announcements with the highly acclaimed music network.

June 15, 2010, Nikkole brought her latest offering entitled ''Double Deluxe Vol. 1'' which contains sizzling remixes of ''Are You Satisfied?'' from her current chart topping album ''Creolepatra'' and the fresh smash ''I Wanna Be'', which has a sultry acoustic version in addition to the original version.
